Story for the farm cats.

Soot sniff the air, looking for any sign of mice. Thunder looked at the she-cat. Her fur was a silky dark gray, and she was a great hunter. Thunder dropped a mice by her paws. "Have mine. There are plenty more," Thunder meowed. "Hold on, how about we make a pile and store it? We'll have a lot of prey then," Soot meowed. Thunder nodded in agreement, and set his mouse down to start a pile. Rose emerged from the hay, two mice dangling from her jaws. She set it down on Thunder's mice. Then Rose's mate, Fleck followed and dropped his mice on the pile. Soot disappeared into the hay then soon came back with three mice dangling in her jaws. She dropped them on the pile. "I'm going to catch two birds. Fleck, can you go catch some voles? You're good at it," Soot meowed, and Fleck nodded. They both headed out of the barn. "Should we catch more mice?" Thunder asked. "A few more won't hurt," Rose told him. They both went into two different bales of hay. Then came with a mouse dangling from their jaws. They set them on the pile. Soot came back with three birds in her jaws. Fleck followed with five voles. "Let's eat!" Soot meowed. She grabbed a bird and settled down next to Thunder. Thunder ate his plump mice slowly. Rose took a vole, and so did Fleck. Soot bit off the bird, then tore into it. She finished it the same time everyone else finished their prey. "Hunting is always easy, and that's good," Fleck commented. "Yeah, soon we'll have 2 more mouths to feed," Rose added.
Rose had her kits. She named them Shade and Mouse. And soon Soot had Thunder's kits. Lake and Storm. Shade and Mouse were learning how to hunt today. Lake and Storm had a few moons away till they could learn. Mouse caught his first vole and mouse and dropped it on the pile.Shade caught her first bird and mouse. "Looks like she'll be a bird catcher, like me," Soot commented. Thunder returned with a bird and a vole in his jaws. "We should stock up on prey," Fleck meowed then headed out, followed by his kits. Shade rushed past her father and Mouse chased after her. Rose followed and Thunder disappeared into the hay. "Are they hunting?" Lake asked her mother. "Yes," Soot replied. Storm tackled his sister. Lake held her ground. "Stop, Thunder is hunting," Soot whispered. Storm stopped and sat down. Thunder appeared with 5 mice in his jaws. He dropped them on the pile. Mouse came in with 3 voles. Shade followed him with a bird and two voles. Rose had 3 birds. And Fleck had 5 voles. They all dropped their prey on the pile.

Lake made fun of her brother. "You like Shade!" She meowed and circled him. "You like Mouse!" Storm hissed. "No, he likes me!" Lake mewed then sat down. "Go hunting you two! Try the bale of hay!" Soot told them. They both quietly raced off towards the hay. Rose came in, followed by Shade, Mouse, and Fleck. They all had a bird and two voles. They dropped them on the pile. "It's getting low. Soot, why don't you go hunting?" Rose meowed. "I'd love to. Lake, Storm! Come on, we're going hunting!" She called to her kits and headed out of the barn. Soot looked in the trees for a bird. She spotted one in a low branch and leaped. She grabbed it with her claws and killed it. "Nice catch!" Her mate, Thunder called. He walked over carrying 3 rabbits. "Let's focus on catching rabbits. You teach Lake, I'll teach Storm," Thunder told her and buried his prey. They called their kits and headed off.

Storm and Lake learned how to catch rabbits. They had caught a lot!
Soot was so tired. She slowly padded to her nest. She wasn't in the mood to talk to anybody. She just curled up in her nest and fell asleep.
She woke up and heard yowls coming from outside. She raced outside and saw rouges attacking her friends. She hissed and leaped on one. Digging her claws deep into the cats flesh. "Snow, shake her off!" One cat yowled. "I can't!" Snow replied. "Stop!" One cat yowled and every cat stated and stopped. "Lets introduce ourselves," the cat told them. The farm cats looked at each other, puzzled. "No," Snow hissed. "Just tell us what you're doing here!" Fleck snarled. "Hunting," a gray tom replied. "Hunting? Not on our territory!" Soot hissed. "We need food," a silver tabby she-cat mewed. "So do we!" Soot growled. Snow lashed her tail. "Fine, come on. Let's hunt somewhere else," Snow instructed and the other rouges followed her.
